MEET THE R.E. MILLER & SONS FAMILY
tom millerOwner, tomjmiller7@gmail.comTom started working for his dad in 1974 and has grown up with the business. He has been designing and building roads since shortly after he started, and still loves to get out in the field as often as possible. He is dedicated to improving the landscape of southwestern Montana and has long been involved in local conservation work. Tom has studied rivers and streams for decades, understands the science as well as the practicalities of stream and habitat improvements, and has years of experience with getting permits for water projects.

Chris MehringProject manager, chrismehring@qwestoffice.netChris started at R.E. Miller immediately after graduating from WMC with a degree in Business Education. Twenty-one years later, what started as a temporary job manning a shovel and planting willows has turned into a long-term commitment to project management. Chris specializes in working closely with landowners to ensure that the project results are exactly what were envisioned.

Vic Hagerproject manager, vichager@qwestoffice.netVic Hager came to R.E. Miller after 32 years with the USDA Natural Resources & Conservation Service, bringing a background in engineering, design, hydrology, hydraulics, and the management of natural resources. He specializes in the layout, design, and installation of irrigation systems, stock water pipelines, small dams, ponds, and stream restoration projects. Vic designs projects that address the concerns of both the landowner and the land management agencies, making the permitting process easier on everyone.

Tanner laggeproject manager, tlagge4@gmail.comTanner joined the R. E. Miller & Sons team in 2010. Tanner has a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an option area in Small Business Management. Tanner has been expertly trained in stock water systems, septic systems, surveying, permitting and design work. His primary focus is customer service and satisfaction. Tanner takes a “hands on” approach while working with his customers and their project needs. His main goal is to utilize and make the best of the natural resources in southwest Montana. He understands that R. E. Miller & Sons has a valuable relationship with the community and will work hard to ensure that long-standing tradition continues.
